A Little About Me
Hi, I'm Mary! So glad you're here.
I'm Mary Richardson, MS, BCBA, LBA, the founder of Rich Behavior Solutions, LLC.
For more than a decade, I've had the privilege of working alongside individuals and families, helping them navigate behavioral challenges, build meaningful skills, and celebrate progress along the way.
But beyond my professional experience, I'm also a mom of four boys, including a son on the Autism spectrum. Being on both sides of the table—as a behavior analyst and as a parent—has given me an even greater appreciation for the patience, understanding, and encouragement families need.
I know that reaching out for support isn't always easy. Sometimes you're exhausted, sometimes you're unsure of what to do next, and sometimes you just want someone to listen without judgment.
That's exactly the kind of space I hope to create here.
My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I believe in taking time to truly understand the individual, listening to the people who know them best, and creating realistic strategies that fit into everyday life.
I'm not here to tell you that everything needs to change overnight. I'm here to help you recognize what's already working, find new ways to navigate what's difficult, and celebrate every bit of progress along the way.
Whether you're looking for answers, practical guidance, or simply a place to begin, I'm happy you're here.
You don't have to have it all figured out before reaching out. We'll start right where you are.
With care,
Mary Richardson, MS, BCBA, LBA

My Background
A Lot of Experience, Even More Heart
For more than 10 years, I've had the privilege of working alongside individuals and families, helping them navigate challenges, build meaningful skills, and celebrate the little victories along the way.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and my master's degree in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I'm a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), and currently pursuing my PhD in Developmental Psychology at Capella University.
Beyond my professional experience, I'm also a mom of four boys, including a son on the autism spectrum. Being both a behavior analyst and a parent has shaped the way I approach my work. I understand how much it means to have someone who truly listens, understands your concerns, and offers guidance without judgment.
I created Rich Behavior Solutions to bring together my love for helping families and my passion for behavior analysis. My hope is to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, supported, and confident in the steps you're taking.
Because meaningful progress isn't about perfection. It's about finding what works for you, one little step at a time.
Little Steps. Meaningful Growth. Lasting Change.
